Autodesk AEC Subscription Advantage packs

Another reason to be a subscription member:

Autodesk has released subscription advantage packs for all of their AEC products

Revit Subscription Pack

The Autodesk® Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2010 extends the capabilities of Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2010 software. Productivity-enhancing functionality and features better support modeling, coordination, and documentation, while improved tools help you work more efficiently within the software.

In addition, new applications that complement Revit Architecture 2010 workflows help you:

  • Validate the accuracy of building information models created in Revit Architecture 2010 against pre-determined standards
  • Import and export data between a Revit project and an external database
  • Facilitate the use of building information modeling (BIM) for building renovation projects by creating 3D models from 2D digital photographs

Subscription Release Pack for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010
Improve productivity with exclusive access to new tools and functionality available in the Subscription Release Pack for Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2010.

Revit Extensions for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010
Extend the capabilities of Revit Architecture 2010 in key areas using Revit® Extensions.

Autodesk Revit Model Review
Automate the process of reviewing and auditing BIM projects in Revit Architecture 2010 with the Autodesk® Revit® Model Review plug-in.

Autodesk Revit DB Link
Import and export data between a Revit Architecture 2010 project and an external database, and then more easily maintain relationships of linked data with Autodesk® Revit® DB Link.

Autodesk ImageModeler 2009
Use 2D digital photographs to more quickly create, edit, and texture 3D models for building renovation projects and energy-efficiency analysis with Autodesk® ImageModeler™ 2009 software.
Naviswork Subscription Pack:

General Enhancements (Autodesk FBX File Format Support and Batch Processing Utility)

Support for the Autodesk® FBX® file format improves interoperability between Autodesk® Navisworks® 2010 software and other Autodesk products, while a new batch processing utility offers improved productivity for existing Navisworks users.

Autodesk FBX File Format Support
Support for the Autodesk FBX file format improves interoperability between Navisworks 2010 and a range of other Autodesk products, including Autodesk® Maya®, Autodesk® 3ds Max®, and Autodesk® Softimage® software. Users can import FBX data for viewing and analysis in Navisworks 2010, and also export projects in the widely used, platform-independent format.

Capabilities include:

  • Import and export of FBX file format
  • Support for FBX geometry, plus some properties and textures
  • Ability to combine files from multiple design applications into a single project model in Navisworks 2010, and export the integrated model into 3ds Max for professional visualization

Batch Processing Utility
The new batch processing utility offers improved productivity for Navisworks 2010 users. It supports the automation of common tasks such as generating lists of files, combining files, and converting files. Users can schedule the time of batch processing to optimize allocation of resources.

Capabilities include:

  • File list—produces a text file containing a list of the paths and file names of all design files used in an integrated model
  • File combine—enables users to automatically import a batch of files of any supported format into a single model
  • File convert—enables users to automatically convert a batch of supported files into individual Navisworks files
